For me personally the best Italian restaurant. The chef Savino is there with a lot of love, you have the feeling he is bringing a piece of Italy to Bremen. The waiters are very attentive and personable. Price-performance and quality ratio very good, everything fits together as it should be.

Food carelessly arranged and not very convincing in terms of taste. The young waitresses were very courteous and friendly - the older gentleman, however, was not hospitable and sometimes even slovenly. There are better places there!

Very good Italian osteria. Original Italian dishes, as good as we weren't "Germanized" at all. I had spaghetti with prawns, fantastic. Nice atmosphere, very friendly service. I found it a disadvantage that the ventilation was poor. After the visit, our clothes smelled intensely of food, which I found very annoying. Even in the restaurant you can smell that the ventilation is insufficient.

If an innkeeper and the associated staff are already overwhelmed with welcoming the guest ... there is still a lot of room for improvement in the appreciation to make the guest want more. For us, this behavior is a no go and never ever?

Arrogant, cheeky and inattentive service. After 32 minutes we were asked if we wanted something to drink! Here you have to sit down right after lunch. Because dinner is ordered at noon, so it is served in the evening !! All wines are listed with the wrong year on the wine list. But, just as expensive as the best vintage. Not recommended !! ? Menu and pepper mill / salt mill is not disinfected, despite Covid-19 requirements! Ah, with mold in the parmesan !! ?

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good; I had the five course menu with fish. Adequate very well prepared portions. However, the guest room is very open and therefore it is very loud. The open view into the kitchen justifies the interior design. The only negative point: the table was much too small - therefore one point was deducted. If the table were square with the same size, it would have fitted better! - Thank you for the wonderful evening!

The waiters are always very keen and always gallant! The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the seats very adequate. There you don't get the feeling of eating cucumbers in a can at all, and a lot of things are a treat for palate lovers. The quantities are an appealing and filling dimension, and my husband and I also find the prices completely fair.

Averag-ish main courses, with prices average-to-high. Oh, and the old scam of selling tap water inside premium glass bottles, pretending to open then at the table. Never again.

Been to the Restaurante Osteria Essen with the son today. Service was great! Food was okay. Had a little bit of everything. A little bit more of everything (ambience, food and maybe a few renovations) and I would have given 4 stars. This is not supposed to be petty, but maybe a little push in another direction.

Can confirm the positive reviews of my previous guests. But only as far as the food is concerned. I would give it five stars. Their positive reviews in terms of service ..... I must have been in another restaurant. Service was friendly, but often incapable. Example: Waited at the "table assignment" for almost 10 minutes until someone finally took care of us. Then the same thing again at the table until the cards came. Order: Same, same. But the ladies were friendly.

One of the best places to eat in Bremen if you want to eat Italian. Excellent and fast service with very nice staff. The owner / cook is too strong!

Nice pasta, but I did not really get the Italian feeling. The restaurant it self was a bit dull.

Food was delicious (vitello tonnato, beef capaccio, pasta). Service courteous and friendly. Meat and fish dishes available from the charcoal grill. All in all a round thing.

Great antipasto selections and fresh salad with a tangy balsamic, and delicious red sauce on my lasagna! Superb service and we walked in!

Servicers were overwhelmed.

Authentic Italian food, with super ambeince. Open plan kitchen allows Savino, the chef/proprietor to run the whole show, with èlan.
